Title : Label vs price policies in the realm of nutritional labels
Abstract: This is a more applied work, whereby we ran a largish experiment on French consumers, with real sales of goods in the lab, and tested the differential impact of front of pack labels and taxes/subsidies on real purchases. Full paper submitted -- shareable for the seminar. I put this into a larger perspective of how one can use experiments to inform behavioral public policy, the strength and weaknesses of the lab approach w.r.t. the field, and more thoughts on applied experimental econ in general.
