GREDEG

We are excited to launch the GREDEG Apéro Young Seminar Series, a new seminar series for PhD students and postdocs at GREDEG.

The idea is simple: once a month, we meet to share work in progress, exchange feedback in a relaxed setting, and get to know each other better. Each session will last one hour and will be followed by an informal aperitivo at GREDEG - bring your own food and drinks!

We will start with a pilot phase from June to September, before officially launching the series in October. During this pilot phase, we will host a few extra sessions to get the series started and give more people the chance to present.

Sessions will take place at GREDEG, in room Picasso.

Our first pilot seminars are:
  • 1 June, 16:30 - Roberta Terranova, "Negative Emissions, Positive Returns? How Financial Markets React to Carbon Removal Purchases"
  • 16 June, 16:30 - Timothe Gaucher, "Risky Behaviors, Intertemporal Risk Preferences, and Present Bias"
  • 23 June, 16:30 - Marie Sciaccitano, title TBD
We will soon circulate a form where you can sign up for a presentation slot, so start thinking about what you would like to share.
We hope the GREDEG Apéro Young Seminar Series will become a fun and useful space for scientific exchange, with an apero-friendly spirit.
